How was your experience?
The Dandy was a dud!! From the outside, the boat was disappointing and in need of maintenance, however once inside, accommodations are acceptable. But it got worse. The food was mediocre and the service was lousy. The piano man was grumpy and his performance was lack-luster. It did not feel like a special occassion for mothers, more like herding cattle, move-um-in move-um-out. The final negative was that they taxed me, not at the price of the tickets I purchased from you, but for the full $300.00. The maitre'd came to my table and asked what my problem was because I had not charged a tip, told me how much I should tip and that too, was based on the full $300 price. I had already left an appropriate cash tip visable on the table and for what? What amounted to very sporatic beverage service. I wouldn't go again for free and certainly don't recommend this venue to anyone. If you like the concept take one of the other boat restaurant trips. By the way, the 3 hour advertised cruise was 1 1/2 hrs at the dock and 1 hour up and down the potomac. The only good thing about the event was you, Goldstar.
