How was your experience?
RocketBoat has hourly departures starting at 11:30AM and lasts until 5:30PM. The ride is about 30 minutes and it's really fast. Their route goes east towards the Bay Bridge, once past the bridge they do their sharp turns, and they head towards AT&T Park for some photos before speeding back towards Pier 39. Some tips: It's COLD! It might be gorgeous weather, but dress warmly. I suggest a windproof jacket at minimum. Don't wear a hat or glasses on the ride, the wind may just pick it up and fly it away. If you are carrying any items like shopping bags or backpacks, there's no storage. Many of the seats are great seats, but stick to the ones closer to the front for the best views and experience. Secret parking tip: If you are a AAA member, park in the Pier 39 garage, visit the California Welcome Cener at Pier 39, show your card, and get your self 2 hours of FREE parking. That's a $14 value. For anyone interested in going to Golden Gate Bridge boat tour, Blue and Gold gives RocketBoat passengers a $9 offer when showing their stub to the ticket booth office. For us GoldStar folks, it's quite simple. Bring the printout with ID to the ticket booth and you get a ticket to ride anytime (even next week), but the GoldStar offer must be claimed at the booth on the day you specified.
