How was your experience?
LOVED this. I am a fan of dark, terror/horror/thriller stuff, and while this was mild in comparison to a lot of movies I have seen, it was brilliantly done. Hats off to the entire cast, crew and everyone involved. More modern dance than a "play", this has earned the top spot among theater I have seen in the last few years in my mind. Seriously, I loved it. If you like dark, creepy, spooky, and suspense-type stuff, this is for you. Fans of Takashi Miike will love it. Fans of Halloween, Freddy, and Texas Chainsaw Massacre will love it. Republicans may hate it, but well, tough. lol Definitely not for the timid or shy, this is a very in-your-face production and the front row is definitely the place to be. Although, be warned, the actors are RIGHT in front of you. Like three feet away. Note: This production employs strobe lighting and extensive use of blackout darkness. The blackout effect is total--you literally cannot see your hand in front of your face. I loved this aspect, btw. Between each of the short (45-120 second sketches), the entire theater is plunged into total blackness. Best transition work in the dark I have ever seen. Fast, perfect and seamless. In a word: EXCELLENT. GO.
