How was your experience?
The Iridium is a well-established jazz venue - intimate atmosphere, good sound. They offer a moderately priced food and drink menu and service is unobtrusive - as it should be when the music is the star. Therese Genecco and her Little Big Band fill the small stage with dynamic renditions of standards with a particular emphasis on the music of the legendary Francis Faye. She is hugely entertaining and musical with a wry sense of humor. The addition of Broadway diva, Karen Mason, was a real bonus. She brought another dimension to the show with her connection to the lyric, the audience and her powerful voice. This show is highly recommended.
