How was your experience?
I bought these tickets for my husband and I thinking it was a tour of Long Island wineries but we ended up going to the Hudson Valley which was fine. We were excited to hear that we were going to be served mimosas but they ended up really being oj with less than 1/4 cup champagne. The music and announcements were really too loud as another reviewer described. The first winery was good and the family who ran it were very knowledgeable. The second winery was suppose to have the oldest vines in the country but all we saw were a few rows. The tasting was outside which would've been better inside since it was in the high 90's. The wine we sampled there was awful! And we spent way too much time there. The third winery was the best (Brotherhood). We were fortunate to get a tour of the cellar from an actual worker from the early years named Pat. The wine tasting was good but hard to bear since it was done in a church that was 110 degrees. Many of us had to step outside to cool down and to keep from passing out. We only had a few minutes to purchase wine here and then we were back on the bus headed back to the city. I would recommend bringing head phones or ear plugs because they play really bad kareoke. All and all it was good despite the singing. Really no one should sing sir-mix-a-lot.
