How was your experience?
Greek theater venue itself is wonderful. Accoustics for an outside venue are excellent. View of surrounding mountains is a joy. Seats are fold-down stadium, not too bad, but bring a cushion. And it gets chilly! Bring coat and blanket, too. I docked it 1-star because the food vendors' offerings are awful. Grease, meat, processed, flavorless paste. So, bring a picnic and eat at a table down the hill near where you park. Then, put your coolers back in your car, walk up the hill, get tickets and go inside. Your seats are numbered, and they are all fine for listening and viewing. Good bathroom facilities. And Now the bands - PF and Yes - just like I remember, senior concert in '76! No wait, I actually don't remember that much from 1976. Oh well, they were as good as I imagine they were the first time I heard them live. :-) The old guitarists (Frampton and Howe) have still got it - even better in some ways. Frampton's still got some voice left and tons of heart and soul. His band is spot on. The youngsters (Rick Wakeman's son especially) are terrific too. The crowd sang along and jumped to their feet after ever song. Even my contemporaries' kids were moving to Owner of a Lonely Heart. :-)
