How was your experience?
This was my second Happy Hour Cruise, planned for a group of 10 to celebrate October birthdays with our closest friends. My first experience was in the summer and much more enjoyable because the sun didn't set until we returned. This time the sun was down before we departed, so photo opportunities were limited. The Octoberfest food on the cruise could have been better; a fresh veggie platter is always a welcomed sight no matter what the theme. The food, music and vibe was much better on the summer cruise; sunny and lively. Overall we had a nice time together. The city of San Diego is gorgeous any time of the day or night. The outdoor temperature on the deck was comfortable, but unfortunately inside it was FREEZING -- just like the summer cruise. You'll always meet visitors, like we did on both cruises. The first time we met a lovely couple from Boston, this time we met a family visiting from Beijing, Japan.
