Saturday October 16, 2010 / 1:00pmLaw and Order Walking Tour of Lower Manhattan
How was your experience?
After reading the descripton of this tour and other member's helpful reviews, I was very excited to attend this event. I've been on a lot of walking tours before and this one was top notch. There was a small group of 5 that day which made it easy to get all of our questions answered. The detective greeted us in a friendly manner and immediately made everyone feel comfortable. He conducted his tour with lots of humor. His knowledge of the subject matter was very comprhensive. Between his keen attention to detail and his in-depth knowledge of the historical background of criminal activity and the city of New York itself, it made the tour not only fun but very educational too. He had lots of visual aids to supplement his narratives. Hearing first hand accounts of events taken from his career was fascinating as well. The detective didn't hesitate to answer all of our questions. There was ample time to use facilities and he never rushed us. It was a very relaxing and laid back tour. I would highly recommend this wonderful tour. It was an afternoon well spent consisting of education, fun and positive interactions.
