How was your experience?
Great show! It was a lovely revisiting of all things Martin Short and the additional talent he had on board was amazing. My favorite part of the Martin portion of the show was seeing him revive Ed Grimley and the bagpipes scene. He's still got it! I had no idea he was 60 years old. The two actresses showing us their impersonation skills were incredible. My favorite part of the evening was the girl singing On My Own from Les Mis as Celine Dion, Ellen Degeneres, Renee Zellweger, Diane Keaton, and Patti Lupone - fabulous! And the Judy Garland segment was equally as amazing and hilarious. My primary critical comment would be on the sound and this could just be the theatre's acoustics. Our seats were waaaay up there and it was difficult to hear and understand what people were saying sometimes. Finally the show was extremely entertaining but it did have a feeling of being thrown together. I would have appreciated a more refined production but at the end of the day, I still love Martin Short and am grateful to have been a patron to this event.
