How was your experience?
Tracey, a professional chef, provided a fun and casual hands-on class in her cooking studio. The studio is simple, modern and functional with retro pale-yellow furnishings. There were 5 of us in the class. Tracey was very friendly and knowledgeable, answered questions about cooking styles, kitchen equipments, and provided tips on seasonings (use of kosher salt, curry, olive oil). In 3 hours, we prepared 4 appetizers, 1 dessert and 1 drink. All were de-lish! Easy to follow recipes, simple instructions and (of course) ingredients were provided which made the class fun and effortless to learn. I was blown away how simple it was to make cute little, perfect looking finger food. We enjoyed our creations at a communal long table while Tracey put the finishing touch on the dessert (tequila whipped cream on top of chocolate ganache!). We even chitchatted with Tracey after dinner. Definitely a great way to discover something new and meet new people. Thank you, Tracey. I can't wait to make some of the yummy recipes for holiday potlucks.
