How was your experience?
As many have stated, it was impossible to judge to quality of the ballet b/c of the poor viewing. I've attend events at the Grove before and did not expect that it would be so hard to see (I've been at tables, which worked fine, and general admission where you can work your way forward.) I would have walked out after 10 minutes but this was my kids' big holiday treat. They moved out into the aisle and stood for the first act. Someone moved a seat there during act 2 so we just stood in front of the sound board for the rest of the show. Not exactly relaxing but we could see SO much better (i.e. at all). The screens were not running during the matinee performance just glowing and reminding us that they would have been better than nothing. The quality of dancers was fine for kids and the general public. Those who know more about dance were likely disappointed.
