How was your experience?
I've always passed it hanging out at pier 39. So, this time We decided to give it a try (at goldstar) pricing. Its a bit small for an aquarium, but it has everything. I made this a 1-2 hour thing, and came in late saturday afternoon. Not crowded at all, quite nice actually. You first see some coral reef fishes, then the jellyfish tanks were so cool! Then you get to walk through the underwater tanks, the first showcasing local fishes (lots of rock fish and starfish) and second half has the sharks and bat rays. I came out with a bunch of awesome photos. Afterwards, is the aquarium's version of a petting zoo. Don't forget to pet the sea cucumber, hehe! Don't forget to print the receipt and bring it with you! Otherwise, the aquarium will send you over to the visitor center. It's a short walk and $1, but a bit annoying.
