How was your experience?
This play requires patience. It is a bit long and it is hard to know until the end what is really going on. But then it all comes together in a very powerful way. And it is not about the Dali-Freud encounter. Dali is really a device to explore the the subject matter in the TITLE of the play. (Those looking for the face-off that the promotional material implies are likely to be disappointed.) I can't say more without giving away too much. I would only add that Jessica's part is acted superbly and it helps to arrive knowing something about Freud, his times, and how his ideas about hysteria are viewed now.
