How was your experience?
We saw the Rudolph Valentino classic, "Son of the Sheik," and it was truly a delight! The manager introduced the films, which included two silent shorts as well, and an amazing piano/organ player provided accompaniment. We arrived about half an hour early to get parking and grab one of the comfy sofas in the front. The popcorn and cupcakes looked good--we'll get some on our next visit. Though we've all seen silent movies on TV, nothing compares to viewing them on the big screen, where every facial nuance registers. This film in particular had some pretty amazing split-screen effects for the time--Rudy plays both father and son. The venue is intimate, warm, and casual, definitely a place to bring the kids!
