How was your experience?
The Bolshoi dancers were incredible -- so strong and graceful, and very well trained. They brought a lot to the dances, and were much more impressive than most modern dancers I've seen. I didn't enjoy most of the choregraphy, except the Balanchine Pas de Trois, which stood out like a jewel. I've seen lots of non-classical-ballet dances that were amazing. I guess I just don't understand why the modern dance choreographers would think flexed and turned in feet are more attractive than the opposite, or why dancers' arms should lead with the elbows. Also, the show was almost devoid of sets, and except for a couple of great dresses, the costumes were minimal...though they do reveal just how athletic and muscular the dancers are.
