How was your experience?
The venue and seats were very good, center tier 1. Parking was good, across the street at South Coast Plaza (even if it says no parking). It was a rock musical, performers were full of energy, I loved the Journey songs, but not into some of the others. I am a 60ish female who attends many musicals, but perhaps this was not the right one for me. Somehow the story telling seemed silly at times, was it supposed to campy, satirical? don't know. At times, I felt uncomfortable at some of the racey costumes, pelvic thrusts, doobies, and comments because there were children in the audience. But the energy of the musicians, singers, and audience was great, I felt as if I were at a rock concert. Many around us wore black leather jackets in honor of rockin'.
