How was your experience?
This review is based on the show, Quidam. Excelent. Not the venue, or the whole idea of the Cirque arena shows. It looses a lot that you see in the big top shows. You loose the closeness and intimacy if you're far away in an upper section. Even the floor seats are a good 10 feet from the stage. Also, you're not enveloped in the world of the show as there are lights constantly illuminating the aisles and coming from the lobbies. In the big top, it's totally controlled. They would hold late-comers until an appropriate time in the show. Here, people are coming and going like it's a hockey game. Kills the mood. Lastly, they can't stand to have 14 seconds go by with no Cirque content before they fire up the electronic advertising boards in the arena. Annoying. Get it back in the tent!! Anyway, Quidam is a classic. 15 years strong. Still some of the original artists, and I loved every minute of it. I just had to put some annoyances aside.
