How was your experience?
A very nice event, especially for the price. The first half of the show was far less good than the second, which was as good a set of performances as any at the (far more expensive) SF Ethnic Dance Festival. As always, the Barbary Coast Cloggers, whose performance ended the evening, were real crowd pleasers. They're always lots of fun. The Bolivian dancers who preceded them were remarkable in their feathered costumes. Even the belly dancers, whom I generally find to be somewhat tedious, were really entertaining. We took our 4- and 6-year old sons, both of whom greatly enjoyed the show though they both were pretty tired by the time it was over. Better, with children, to attend matinees if they are available. In any case, highly recommend this show. We also brought my mother who is in a wheelchair. The event's production people were extremely helpful and solicitous in making accommodations for a disabled patron.
