How was your experience?
The event was a bit smaller than I thought it would be which I guess in a way is good, smaller crowds, etc., but not too many businesses participated. There were about 4 food stands and a few other stands that were giving out things like Shortcuts.com giving out a $5 Ralphs gift card ifyou signed up for their website. Not enough volunteers. I felt bad for the ones that were there though. Presentations were not that well managed either. So the good part is Albertsons did a great job of hosting the event. They had a huge amount of sunflowers they were giving away in bunches and free fruit. At the end, maybe because of the low turnout, they were giving away boxes of fruit and flowers. Raffle prizes were great too. $100 Target gift cards, Amex gift cards, etc. You received one raffle ticket per entry and you could buy more if you wanted to. They had face painting for the kids but other than that, they were a bit bored. I gave it 3 stars because of the giveaways and that's it. Otherwise, they need to work on it a bit more next year, assuming it's an annual event, and have more vendors lined up. Also, some vendors were left to sit in the hot sun while cooking free food for the people. Not cool.
