How was your experience?
The show is in two parts. The first part is a series of 4 short 16 millimeter films from the early 1930s. These are fabulous, showing more imagination than most modern films. The longer second part is Janet Klein and her wonderful group of musicians - one who plays the violin, cornet, slide trombone; one who plays guitar and banjo, one who plays a Hawaiian guitar (wonderful-never heard one before), and a superb bass player. Then there's the effervescent Janet Klein with a voice perfect for those obscure songs of the 1920s and early1930s. An evening which is sdure to delight.
