How was your experience?
Constantine Maroulis was particularly excellent and the rest of the cast and musicians were also excellent, but they didn't have much of a script to work with and the choreography was generally uninspired but well exectued. Unless you really really love all 80's music, you'll have to endure some cr@p among the few good songs. There were a few good lines but overall a trite script with characters not worth caring about. I think this is conceived for an infrequent theater-goer between the ages of 35-45 who grew up with this music in middle school and high school. It's a junk food theater experience not worth full price IMO, but OK for a Goldstar discount. Our seats were in the first row of the mezzanine, but at the extreme left side where the view was partially blocked. There should have been a warning that the seats were partial view only.
