How was your experience?
I found the walking food tour a disappointment in food selection and lacking in historical facts. The energy just wasn't there with the tour guide and some of the stops along the way were less than desirable......going into a candy store with no sample but the opportunity to shop and a gourmet kitchen store where there was a stale cracker with jelly and a marinated piece of peach....all while watching the food tour guide chat with the front store worker while the food tour participants were wondering why we were even there to begin with was sad to witness. Very minimal interaction with the store owners and chefs was the biggest disappointment. The small church history was great but seeing the paid food tour guide sitting down and texting through the whole presentation while a volunteer church guide (not even a part of the food tour) did a 30 minute presentation (way too long) was poorly planned. Was hoping for a great experience with the reviews I read online and walked away feeling I wasted my money and hungry for some good food in Laguna Beach not mismatched samples with not a whole lot of thought behind them.
