How was your experience?
I think Goldstar really pulled thru for this event. You get there and the parking is at the back. 2hrs. But dont park there, theres another parking lot beside it and its 3 hr parking. We got there around 9pm and the show starts at 10pm flew by will-call to get our tickets. Easy enough. Then we waited in line for a good 45 minutes before they allowed people to get in. It didnt bother us, because it allowed me and my friend to catch up. Then you get in and they seat you according to the size of your party. Lucky for us, we got to sit up front. (Unlucky for others because they got picked on by the comedians) Then a waitress takes your drink and orders. DJ Herb Digs was there to play great music. They pump you up for a good 20-30 mins then the Comics take the stage. First comedian was a comic/magician. Justin Rivera. Funny. Had good materials. But only had a few minutes to really get into his act. Second comedian got us laughing out loud (Nico Santos) and set us up to get knocked down by the third comedian (Joey Guila). I cant get into too much detail about the style of comedy... basically it ranges from "Lumpia Jokes" (Filam) to "Kropek Jokes" (Hardcore) Ive never heard their materials before so it was all new to me. And besides, whatever makes you laugh is good right? GO AND SEE THE FILIPINO KINGS OF COMEDY!!! Its definitely worth the money especially hooked up by GOLDSTAR!
