How was your experience?
The weather was gorgeous the day of our cruise, so the views were spectacular. It was even warm enough to stroll outside on the moonlit deck after the sunset. The staff was very friendly and polite. Small glasses of sparkling wine were given to us upon arrival, but any additional (alcoholic) drinks cost extra. Dinner was...a disappointment. The first course was: bread (usually not what I would consider to be a course). The bread and the salad that followed it were both good though. The main course was practically inedible. The beef and salmon were tough and dry. Overall, the cost of the cruise is not worth what you actually get. A year ago when I went on a dinner cruise in Paris for about the same price, the food was incredible, and ALL drinks were included in the cost. If Argosy were to improve the quality of their buffet and include a bottle of wine per couple, then I would absolutely recommend the cruise. Everything else was lovely!
