How was your experience?
It was easy to purchase the tickets via Goldstar and there were no hassles at the door for my "will call' tickets;they already had my name listed. Parking was free and plentiful on the 1st day of the event-Friday afternoon. However, my sister returned on the last day and said it was very crowded. There's shopping for all price ranges from dollar store costume jewelry prices to elegant pieces of jewelry. Many good bargains--was even able to start my Christmas shopping. It would help if more mirrors were placed at the booths so we could get a better view of the item as we brought it up to our face/neckline or ears. We agreed that the food prices were a bit high;thank goodness Subway had a reasonably priced special meal which we were able to share. All the vendors we encountered were friendly and helpful. I was determined I would not go 'crazy' this year, but once I got there, all the sparkle made me lose my strong will. We'll both be back next year & we'll probably each bring a guest to enjoy an afternoon/day of fun girl time & shopping. By the way, ladies, I wouldn't advise bringing your significant other to this event till after you have browsed all you wanted and you know exactly what booth(s) to go to in order to show your partner the items you'd like for him/her to consider for your "wish list."
