How was your experience?
I had tickets to see the star-studded (James Spader, David Alan Grier, Richard Thomas & Kerry Washington) Broadway production of "Race," but had an accident and had to miss it because I was in the ER instead of Times Square... so I was very glad to FINALLY get the chance to see it. I must say that the cast may not have had any "big names," but they were uniformly excellent. As for the play itself, I don't want to get into spoiler territory but I did not always believe the characters' motivations (especially the accused, Charles Strickland), and the ending seemed a little facile. Still, this was a well-acted, tightly directed intermissionless 90 minutes that fans of Mamet will want to check out.
