How was your experience?
I can't complain too much since the tickets were basically free (besides the $19 total service charge and $9 parking.) The orchestra sounded lovely. The acoustics in the music center is fabulous. I could hear everything very clearly, including the babies crying, and people shuffling in and out. There were late comers all the way into the second half and since we were sitting in the center aisle, there was never a moment of silence. The audience was not educated on the etiquette of an opera.. they clapped before the performance was completely over. Unless I'm mistaken, I believe we're supposed to wait until the auditorium is silent for at least 3 seconds after the orchestra has stopped playing. I was very happy about the handicap accessibility. My dad was able to get up there and sit without much hassle. Thank you very much for that. I would have liked to see Mr. Domingo perform a little longer and on stage where I could see him. But thank you for the opportunity and the wonderful music.
