How was your experience?
We enjoyed the event, once we understood and bought into the fact that it was a sort of community performance, and not a professional production. The audience was filled with family of the children performing, including many youngsters who would rather have been elsewhere. Many attendees arrived late and were seated during the performances. The venue is an older theater, which certainly had it's charm, but it had no elevator to the balcony (tough for my mom). If we sat back in our seats in the balcony, we missed some of the footwork of performers at the front of the stage, and if we leaned forward we blocked the view for those behind us. All that being said, the production was charming, the costumes were nicely done, and there were even some talented dancers. It was a huge cast, which was impressive at the end to see them all on stage. The festive holiday decorations helped put us in the spirit of Christmas. If you like a sort of community-type dance production, I think you will enjoy this event. PS There is four-hour parking for $1 with validation in the structure on Orange, one street over, in the same block as the theater.
