How was your experience?
There was one guitarist, a vocalist and three dancers: a mother, her daughter, and another woman. The guitar player was very skillful, however the sound system was not the best, so his musical artistry was masked. The singer had a deep, throaty voice and gave an admirable performance. (My favorite song of all was about someone whose teardrop fell on a sandy beach. A wave carried the tear out to sea, and the lover is saying he wishes he could find the tear and bring it back. Great song!) As regards the other performers, the mother was a fantastic castanet player, the other dancer appeared less experienced but was okay, and the daughter, hands-down, stole the show. I have never seen such a gifted flamenco dancer. It is worth going to the show just to see her. Beautiful, beautiful dancer. Overall, this is a not-to-be missed show. The restaurant is small and intimate, and you can park directly across the street for a flat rate of $10.
