How was your experience?
This event left me very sad. I had looked forward to be laughing my butt off into the new year. Mr Mooney was a huge disappointment to me and the two people who accompanied me. We left early. He was not funny. He was cruel, crass, rude, lewed, and disrespectful to hundreds of people who dished out hard-earned cash for a few laughs, a good time, and a happy start to the new year. Mr Mooney is such a comic genius. He is so much better than what he has been on this tour. He seemed to have no content prepared for the evening. I hope that his intention was to try our new material to see what works for this audience. Unfortunately, enough people laughed at the nastiness out of his mouth just enough to keep him on a base and vulgar track. Oh, and in case you were wondering, the b-word, f-word, the m-f-word, n-word, and s-word have all prominently returned to his presentation. Stay home. Watch YouTube, at least it's free, and you can opt out of objectionable content. One last thing - alot of verbal abuse was aimed at a woman and her mother who sat on the stage. Although it was still inappropriate, it goes to show that God don't like ugly. The targets were part of a group of people who sat in someone else's reserved seats and refused to move. That delayed the start of the show and soured the atmosphere for many of us. Maybe the show would have started in 2011 if it had not been for that.
