How was your experience?
We had a great time. The theater size was small. Much smaller than expected (this website claims seating of 110, I believe it is closer to 30. The actors were very, very talented. I felt the writing was superb. The story line focused on four central, relatable themes and used an unexpected pregnancy to add tension: 1) A growing income disparity between men and women (with women out earning men) and each gender trying to come to terms with becoming a parent. 2) The struggles of the artist in a world which under values their contribution to society 3) The modern woman's struggle between her emotions and intelligence 4) The stereotypical womanizer's inability to express his feelings and the challenge to overcome his reputation Each of these themes were investigated in a surprising amount of depth. All in all, I think everyone involved put on a great show and I would expect bigger things in their careers. After the show, we were invited to meet the cast and crew at a local bar. It was a great experience.
