How was your experience?
I was surprised at how truly lifelike most of the figures were, and if you go expecting just to have fun, and not a mindblowing experience, you won't be disappointed. There were NO crowds when we visited (a January Wednesday afternoon) which made it that much more pleasant. The 4-D movie seems to be an excerpt of Happy Feet (the movie); it was OK, not great. I personally enjoyed learning all about Madame Tussaud herself, and I liked the text that was given alongside each figure, along with a quote from each one. The staff was very nice. Of course they try to get you to buy all kinds of trinkets and souvenirs, but you are allowed to take photos and video throughout the attraction and I think those are probably the best souvenirs you can have. I was very happy to go with the Goldstar discount, which is substantial. With no crowds and no rushing, my teenage daughter and I spent 90 minutes all told. That was plenty of time to see everything.
