How was your experience?
What a great evening. Garrison Keillor took the stage for a full two and a quarter hours without a break. His voice is just one of the most soothing sounds in the world to me, and his stories are so witty and charming. I found his songs surprisingly soulful, and on the one occasion when he sang bass, I was just blown away. I didn't know he could sing like that! A little bit of his material was actually a little risque (well, for Garrison Keillor anyway) - wasn't expecting that! I guess there's some of that stuff you just can't say on Prairie Home Companion. All in all, a delightful evening.
