How was your experience?
The acting was fantastic and the design of the play was brilliant. As with his book, "The Invention of Hugo Cabret," Brian Selznik allows different media to occupy the same space in his brain -- puppets, live theater, dolls, music -- it's really amazing and novel. The theater itself is intimate and the perfect size for the play. Our seats were off to the side and it was impossible to see some of the action that occurred in the back of the stage, so we just moved to seats that were closer and more in the center and it was fine. Great production!
