How was your experience?
This was my first time at a Woodminster event and I was impressed. Parking ($5) was convienent. There was plenty of food for sale and there does not seem to be any rules against bringing in your own. I saw the opening night performance, and the weather seemed uncharacteristically cold with lots of fog. That may have caused the audio problems with some of the wireless mics, but that's live theater. The lead was great with a powerful voice. The orchestra didn't miss a beat. Some of the younger singers struggled a bit, but I'm sure their nerves will settle down in later performances. Fiddler fans, will not be disappointed. If you need to get home early, most the really popular songs are in the first half, so it would not be horrible if you leave at intermission. But they do a ticket giveaway before the second half, so you may to wait til then to see if you get lucky.
