How was your experience?
I have seen Three Sisters a few times. Whenever I see that it's playing I make it a point to go see it. The Steppenwolf production is one of the best I've ever seen and I thoroughly enjoyed the superb acting, the set and the pace. Getting a Chekhov play right is one of the hardest tings to in theatre but its always fun to try. When I see a Chekhov play, I enter his timeless world. It's a great place to be. The characters all seem to be part of a lost world that I'd love to be a part of. You are able to see that slice of life for only a few moments before it's gone. Unfortunately, I will never be able to hear Chekhov's true words in Russian. But it's a great place to be nonetheless. Go see Chekhov whenever you have the chance. Go to his world. Steppenwolf does a good job. Side note: There was an obnoxious intoxicated young woman in the second row who annoyingly laughed at every line whether it was funny or not. She tried to ruin the play for everyone. She was a complete ass. I took one star off because i think she impacted the actor's performance in the second act and the flow was disrupted.
