How was your experience?
Interesting idea, but I found myself getting bored. I'd expected more lively music, more dancing. The music they played between or during each scene, while performed by a talented quartet, tended to be somber, and that mixed with the slow-paced material of the play tried my patience. I suppose it might have been more enticing for someone of Irish genealogy. The actors were sleepy and lackadaisical about their performances. The host (of the play, not the interviewer) was an energized fellow, and when he was on stage, those scenes were much more enjoyable. We very much enjoyed the Shepherd's Pie and Guinness-Infused Meatloaf my date and I had after the show. The bar itself is quite cozy, I'd definitely go again. But I'd skip the play.
