How was your experience?
Very entertaining. Loved the vocals--except for the "queen devil" (Hippolyta/Titania?), her voices was scratchy at times. Thought the stage work was wonderful--could have used the stage for the second half instead of in front of the curtain (too cramped). All characters were played out well--least favorite/convincing was the female with long blonde hair wearing pink (Hermia?) Never knew Shakespeare could be so much fun. Song choices were great and sung well. Actor playing the "ass" was absolutely captivating. Actor playing the female role as a man had taken the spot light of the second half when he cried for his dead love before his own suicide. Would like to see pictures of the actors/staff on the handout along with their bios. A most enjoyable play thus far this year for me.
