How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
I never had an opportunity to see Janis Joplin when she was alive, but after seeing this production, it was THE NEXT BEST THING!! Mary Bridget Davies performance is so right on, its like she is channeling Janis herself. Her mannerisms are incredible. The Blues Singer, Sabrina Carten's takes on the role of the various black blues singers that inspired Janis throughout her short career. This is not to be missed. I would say to avoid Wed and Sunday Matinees and Sunday evening as the understudy plays those nights. There is no way she can pull off what Mary does as Mary looks so much like Janis herself. I did dress in 70"s garb which made it that much more fun!! Don't miss the Janis Joplin video and memorabilia display outside of the Kreeger before you see the production. Also, be sure you preorder your drinks for the intermission. Makes your life so much easier. You can take your drinks to your seats, so civilized.

Help others enjoy a great night out
