How was your experience?
A long but absorbing adaptation of the classic Dorothy Sayers mystery, well directed and acted. The largely female cast (the action takes place at a women's college at Oxford in the 1930s) has better English accents than I've heard on the town's biggest stages. There's no murder in this mystery -- the women are being harassed by mysterious anonymous letters full of threats and vicious insults. The story escalates quietly to its climax, with very interesting conversations about marriage, celibacy, and women's approaches to intellectual life and demanding careers along the way. I recommend it!
