How was your experience?
If I could give this 4.5 stars, I would. I enjoyed this production. I had seen the Constellation Theatre Company's production at Source last year, and was completely blown away by it. The Arena production is also quite good, although my seat in the last row was a disadvantage. I think the closer you can get to the set, the better. The play grew on me as it went on, and I was completely wrapped up in it by the end. it has many visually stunning moments, and the pool offers so many opportunities for drama and beauty. On the negative side, sometimes the actors' voices were drowned out by music, and the audience was restless the night I saw it (lots of coughing), and that was distracting. I really liked how the script and actors were able to bring the ancient Greek gods to life, and show the universality of human life, death, and hope.
