How was your experience?
Really fine voices hit the right notes but the unexpected hit of the evening was the comic who played "Joey Bishop." He was really funny and he held the show together. He did topical contemporary humor, a very good choice. Two hours of straight singing would have been too much, you need a break, and he gave it. Two beautiful young blondes in the front row tables had gotten in the spirit by dressing up as if this really were Vegas 1965, plunging necklines, minks, and that was fun. People dressed up for this, it was like a quick trip to Vegas. A's Bell Theater gives you a bottle of Bass for 4.50, a liter of Scotch Ale for 11. The appetizer platter was fresh, delicious, served two. Arrive early or parking is hard. A great night.
