How was your experience?
I've seen various version of the Nutcracker (Russian Ballet in Baltimore, Weber's at the Warner Theatre, and others in Los Angeles), and I have to say that this show exceeded my expectations. I had never been at the Olney Theatre, but it is a nice venue, very quaint. The choreography was well done--there were a lot of dancers, but somehow each and everyone had a role, so that no matter which way you looked you were bound to find yourself entertained. We attended the first show of the series so the show didn't exactly start on time. The theatre has a small concession stand (cash only) with limited snacks. The Olney Ale House is across the street which could be good for pre-show dining. Parking is not a problem here. Overall I thought it was a great show, definitely worth the ticket.
