How was your experience?
The show was entertaining with a few stand-out numbers. The lead actress was exceptional, reminding me of Jennifer Hudson. Moving the story to 1978 allowed the songwriters to incorporate elements of the R&B and Disco music of the time frame that worked well. But the storyline was very thin, the conflict between Delores and Mother Superior didn't come across as strongly as it should so that you felt moved by their understanding of each other. With Goldstar's Discount- it's well worth the price of admission and checking out. It's just not a show I would want to see more than once.
