How was your experience?
This show was good, but not ready to open on February, 8, 2013. Actors were nearly hit by flying scenery, dance numbers are not polished, dancers were not advanced enough for the choreography or performance ready, set pieces didn't function properly, scene changes were not made in time, Dolly Parton's narration of the show had been taken out (perhaps due to royalties), certain actors microphones were to low to be heard, set pieces were noisily slammed together off stage, lines were flubbed. Ensemble needed more direction while acting in the backround. The director still has a lot of work to do on this show. It was just a sloppy, sloppy opening night. Good work went into the show. Another week or two and the show will be ready to open for the public. Its the first 3D Theatrical show that has NOT been Broadway calibur. Still it wasbetter than sitting home lookin at the same 4 walls. I have high hopes for 3D Theatricals and will support them in the future. Perhaps by the end of the run, this show will be running smoothly.
