Thursday November 29, 2012 / 7:30pm (Preview)A Christmas Carol
How was your experience?
This was such a wonderfully charming show! Set in 1944 soon to be 1945, we are the audience to a sound stage for the live radio-show broadcast of "A Christmas Carol". Packed with retro flare and a charming cast, it is the perfect way to start the holidays and enjoy Christmas Carol in a whole new way. About the location - it was my first trip to the Old Town Theater but will not be my last. This is an intimate sized little playhouse, so every seat is a great one. Although, for the "best" view I would recommend avoiding the seats on the edges nearest the stage since you would only get the side-long view of things. We sat in the upper back (row G, seats 64 and 66) and it was perfect for an overview of the whole stage plus we could watch the Foley artist at work on sound effects in the right-hand corner of the stage.
