How was your experience?
I bought friends tickets for this show who had never seen the Men's choir, but are fans of Ana Gasteyer from her time on Saturday Night Live - who doesn't love the Schweddie Balls skit? They said that Ana was great fun - even though she seemed to blow a few of her lines and the chorus and band had to start a song over for her - or it may have been part of her schtick. They thought that the chorus was a delightful surprise and that the massive chorus was wonderful. The chorus opened the concert with two songs performed with the pipe organ that were powerful and set the tone for quality of the evening. The rest of the program varied from touching to downright funny. The chorus' rendition of Silent Night has a surprise ending that is pretty much worth the price of admission. My friends left the concert feeling very much in the holiday spirit.
