How was your experience?
I would have given this event 4 stars or maybe even 5, but some of the people who were working at Valley View Casino Center that night were pretty rude. One of the men who was supposed to be directing the traffic in the parking lot ($20 to park) yelled at my husband and I to drive around the cones. I slowed down to ask him a question and he yelled, "Come On! It's not that difficult !" Seriously? Great customer service! There was no one behind us so it's not like we were holding up traffic. Then at will call they didn't give us all of our tickets, and the lady collecting tickets at the door, seemed extremely agitated and upset that we only had 4 tickets. Really? Why was she so put out? We were the ones who had to march back to will call to get the rest of our tickets. The pre-game activities (Magic Pass) seemed pretty chaotic. Tons of people and lines cris-crossing each other so it was hard to tell where one line ended and the other began. That being said, I think the Globetrotters put on a great show! I was pleasantly surprised by the performance. They were very entertaining and funny, and provided entertainment for all ages, great for my 90 year old grandfather as well as my 9 year old nephew. Although the sound system at the Valley View Casino Center is awful, they played good music, and did a great job keeping everyone engaged. It's not the Globetrotters' fault that some of the people working at Valley View Casino Center are a bit challenged when it comes to dealing with the public!
