How was your experience?

Clear I hated it I didn't like it It was OK I liked it I loved it!
The Folger Consort is one of the best (if not the best) early music groups in the Washington area, displaying impeccable scholarship and wonderful musicianship, and exploring the music of many different levels of society in many different regions and in many different languages. The only way in which this event could be made even more interesting for unitiated audiences would have been for one of the musicians to tell us the names of the instruments they were playing, and describe how our present-day musical instruments have evolved from them. I was also curious about whether the music we heard was typically sung by three women, or if it had been adapted from music designed to be sung by male singers.

Help others enjoy a great night out
