How was your experience?
We went on 1-19-13 and had amazing weather. Not to hot, not to cold. Loved the 20 min happy hour as soon as we got on the boat. The staff was very friendly and we had an entertaining captain. We saw a baby grey whale very close up but he/she never really did any big moves but that is not the faulty of Davey's Locker. We also saw a very large grey whale from quit a distance. The best part was driving in to a pod of about 200-300 dolphins. They were playing jumping and have a great time. We took lots of fun photos of them. On our way back in there was a buoy with 15ish sea lions stacked on top of each other and a few swimming around trying to get on the buoy. Very fun to watch them too. We arrived really early to not deal with parking issues. Our boat left at 10 but we arrived around 8:45 but then after checking in, it gave us time to walk over to the Balboa Pier, get a cup of coffee and just enjoy the lovely weather. We did park in the structure right by the ferry. $8 for 5 hours which is more than enough time.
